30- Spring Break Begins 

1. Robotics News-

The first competition is at Troy Athens high school this Friday and Saturday, 3/30-3/31. Friday, the matches are from 11am to 8pm and you can come at any time, as we compete throughout the day. Saturday, matches are from 9:30am to 5pm. Our second competition is next weekend, 4/6-4/7 at Marysville high school. The times for the corresponding days are the same as Troy. 

Please consider coming out to watch Merritt Academy's Robotics Team as they have put a lot of work into this and we are very excited about this talented group of students showing off their robot they have been working so hard on!

3. Lunch Meal Charge Policy

Whether it is brought from home or funds to purchase a lunch from school it is the primary responsibility of the parent or guardian to provide their child a lunch. Merritt academy will not refuse a student a lunch due to lack of funds. Families with negative balances will receive a weekly phone call from the Merritt Academy Food Service Department alerting families of their balance owed to the school. 

4. Easter Bunny Grams

The Merritt Varsity Cheer Team will be selling Spring Bunny Grams starting March 20th through March 28th to raise money for new uniforms.

For $1 you can send a spring greeting and sweet treat to a friend or staff member.

Members of the cheer team will come around to each classroom in grades K-5 every morning starting Tuesday, March 20th. Bunny Grams will be delivered on Thursday, March 29th before we leave on break!

5. Representative Yaroch Coming to Merritt!

On Thursday, March 29th State Representative Jeff Yaroch is coming into read to the elementary students! What a way to cap off March is reading month. Please join us if you have time that morning.
