Dear Merritt Academy Families,

The 2020-2021 school year is quickly approaching. For our students coming back face to face in the fall we need to figure our transportation situation and what students absolutely need busing to get to and from school. 

If your child(ren) will require busing to and from school please respond to Mr. Seiferlein at nseiferlein@merritt-academy.org by Friday, August 14th.  Respond with the following information contained in the e mail:

1.    Student Names and Grade Level

2.    What stop they will be using (List of stops are listed below)

3.    If only one of either pick up or drop off is needed

If we do not get this information by this Friday your family will not be able to use our transportation as some very important decisions are going to be made early next week concerning transportation and how we are going to be running this year.

Michaels (23 and Gratiot)

Georgetown Apartments

Americana

Millstone

Quail Run

Decora Park (3 stops inside complex)

Pinewood Apartments

Meadow Creek

Riverbrook

Amherst

Manning/Marla Area

Rosell/Clark Area

Shoreline Steel Area

Stevens/Clawson Area

Clawson/Chennault Area

Thanks for your prompt and quick attention to this matter. Again, please fill out the information above by this Friday and send it to Mr. Seiferlein to guarantee your child(ren) get a spot on the bus for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Finally, just because your child(ren) used our transportation last year it does not guarantee a spot on the bus for this year. You still need to e mail back this information by Friday.
