Focus will be placed on our Character Education Program, Community Events, and College and Career Prep.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mr. Witkowski at any time.

CHARACTER EDUCATION

Throughout the school year Mr. Witkowski will be going into classrooms to discuss various character traits, as well as talk to students about current social issues such as bully prevention, peer pressure, and making positive choices and healthy habits.

At the end of each month, one student from each classroom will be chosen as "Student of the Month" by their teacher.  This student is chosen based on how well they demonstrated good character throughout the month.  The Student of the Month will receive a certificate, Merritt Academy T-shirt, and a pizza lunch as a token of appreciation for their good character.
